This is my current quilt project. I bought this kit at my local quilt store. They designed the pieced border around the quilt. I am attempting to hand quilt this. I have gained new appreciation for the many quilts that have been hand quilted. My fingers hurt, and it takes a LONG time. I hope to have it done before Christmas.

One of my memories of you happens to be watching you at the sewing machine, making beautiful, frilly dresses for Jenny. I can't tell you how I longed for a dress like hers!!!! I bought a book with lots of miniature quilts in them but I don't quite have the "eye" for fabric! Any suggestions or is it something you are just born with? When I have a place to put my machine up and leave it up, I hope to give it a serious try and make some wall hangings for my home. I love your Christmas quilt!
